1Budget: USD 10,000 to 12,000

The Cadebot L100, PuduBot 2 and LuckiBot carry three or four open trays, map the dining room once and then run table deliveries and dish returns. They suit casual dining and buffets with wide aisles.

2Mid-range: USD 14,000 to 17,000

This is where most restaurants end up. BellaBot adds a friendly face, voice interaction and suspension that keeps soup from spilling. Keenon’s T8 and T9 are slimmer or carry more. Our BellaBot price and alternatives guide compares them in detail.

3Premium: USD 19,000 to 23,000

Higher prices buy marketing screens and narrow-aisle navigation. DINERBOT T11 (USD 19,700) and T10 (USD 23,000) double as moving ad displays, useful in malls, cinemas and chains that want to promote menu items.

Hotel and multi-floor delivery robots

Hotels need robots that ride elevators, open closed compartments and call guests’ room phones. That integration is what pushes prices up. PUDU FlashBot Max costs USD 19,995 and Keenon BUTLERBOT W3 USD 29,600. Budget extra for an elevator integration kit and the building’s own technician; our building delivery robots guide covers what lift integration involves.

Factory and warehouse delivery robots

In factories, delivery robots move parts between lines instead of plates between tables. The PUDU T150 carries light loads for USD 13,500; the T600 handles up to 600 kg for USD 23,995, and the T600 Underride, which drives under carts and lifts them, is USD 22,995. What about sidewalk food delivery robots?

The six-wheeled robots that bring takeaway to students on US campuses, such as Starship’s, are not sold to restaurants. Their operators run them as a delivery service and charge per order through partners and apps. If you see a Starship or Serve Robotics robot “price” quoted online, it is usually a manufacturing cost estimate, not something a business can pay to own one.

Running costs and payback

  • Setup: mapping the floor, marking tables and training staff usually takes one to two days with the reseller.
  • Maintenance: wheels, bumpers and batteries are the parts that wear. Check whether spares and on-site service are included.
  • Software: some brands charge for cloud dashboards or advanced features after the first year; ask before you sign.
  • Payback: a robot does not replace a server, but it takes over the walking. Restaurants usually judge payback against hours of runner work saved per shift.

Our commercial robot costs guide walks through a full purchase, installation and maintenance budget.
