AMR and AGV Robot Price (2026): Warehouse Robots, Forklifts and Leasing

SEER autonomous forklift, AMR and AGV robot price

An autonomous mobile robot (AMR) for moving carts and totes costs about USD 13,500 to 80,000, and an autonomous forklift costs USD 75,000 to well over 200,000. AGVs that follow fixed paths sit in the same bands. The robot is rarely the biggest number, though: fleet software, integration and site changes often add 30% or more on top.

Below are published purchase and lease ranges from a robot financing company, US list prices for AMRs you can order online (RobotsUSA, 19 October 2026), and the quote-only forklifts and heavy AMRs from SEER, Geek+ and SIASUN.

AMR and AGV price ranges

CHG-MERIDIAN, which finances warehouse robots, published these purchase and lease ranges in May 2026:

Robot typePurchase priceMonthly lease (48 to 60 months)
Flat-platform AMRUSD 40,000 to 80,000USD 600 to 900
Tugger or towing AGVUSD 50,000 to 85,000About USD 800 to 1,200
Forklift AGVUSD 75,000 to 200,000About USD 1,200 to 3,200
Complex AMR forkliftFrom USD 150,000, can exceed 300,000USD 2,200 to 5,500

The same source estimates implementation at about 30% of the hardware cost and a five-year total cost of about USD 84,000 for a USD 50,000 AMR. Smaller AMRs for light carts and production line feeding cost less, as the listed prices below show.

These are self-contained robots that map the floor themselves and come with their own fleet app, which is why they cost less than integrated warehouse systems. Our industrial delivery robots guide compares them in detail.

Forklifts and heavy AMRs on quote

Pallet-moving robots are quoted because racking height, pallet type, safety scanners and warehouse management integration vary. RobotsUSA takes quote requests for:

Costs beyond the robot

  • Fleet management software: traffic control, task assignment and charging for multi-robot sites, sometimes licensed per robot per year.
  • Integration: connecting to your WMS or ERP, doors, lifts and conveyors.
  • Site changes: charging stations, Wi-Fi coverage, floor repairs and safety zones.
  • Support: annual service contracts and spare batteries.
  • Change management: training staff and adjusting processes so the robots are actually used.

Buy, lease or robots-as-a-service?

Buying gives the lowest five-year cost if utilisation is high and your team can maintain the robots. Leasing spreads the cost into monthly payments that include little or no service. Robots-as-a-service charges per hour, per pick or per pallet and suits seasonal peaks or a pilot. When you compare offers, put each one on a three- to five-year total, including software and integration, rather than comparing the robot prices alone. Our commercial robot costs guide has a budgeting template.

Frequently asked questions

Light AMRs with published prices start around USD 13,500 (PUDU T150). Flat-platform warehouse AMRs commonly cost USD 40,000 to 80,000, according to financing company CHG-MERIDIAN (May 2026).

How much does an AGV cost?

Tugger AGVs cost about USD 50,000 to 85,000 and forklift AGVs USD 75,000 to 200,000, before integration.

How much does an autonomous forklift cost?

Autonomous forklifts typically cost USD 75,000 to over 200,000, and complex AMR forklifts can exceed USD 300,000. Most are sold on quote.

Can I lease warehouse robots?

Yes. Leases of 48 to 60 months run from about USD 600 per month for a flat AMR to USD 2,200 to 5,500 for complex forklifts.
